Nigerian Actor, Amoshine Declares Presidential Ambition (Video)

 

 

When father of one, Charles Okocha revealed he was going to contest for the position of the president of Nigeria in 2019 in his new song - Amoshine, many thought he was joking as usual.

 

The light-skinned actor, chilling in his white car earlier today, declared his presidential ambition in a viral video. He assured Nigerians of 'free naira' during his tenure as President.

 

Amoshine who commands large followership is expected to slug it out with President Muhammadu Buhari, 75, whose popularity has dipped seriously. With the NotTooYoungToRun campaign encouraging youths to participate in politics, Amoshine who also shuttles between music and comedy might be the messiah Nigeria has been waiting for since independence even though he has no political party yet.

He is well known for his funny attitude and his Tupac-like dressing in Nollywood movies. The Nollywood star rose to prominence after playing the role of abroad returnee in many firms. Okocha gained recognition after starring in a firm titled “Wasted Years” , he has also featured on other popular films like Mr Ibu in London, Strong Men at Work.
