The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control has destroyed a poisonous merchandise smuggled into the country by unscrupulous Nigerians.

Nigeria's Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, witnessed NAFDAC's destruction exercise of intercepted counterfeit drugs supplies in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

He stated that trading fake and counterfeit drugs is an act of terror and should be avoided. The goods have since being destroyed publicly to discourage intending importers from towing the dangerous line.
