Marriage counsellor Simon Asemota has shared his thoughts on why some marriages fail, saying people should learn from other families' experiences and be intentional about making their own marriages work.
Simon Asemota said he didn't just learn from his parents' marriage but also studied other families to understand what works and what doesn't.
Armed with those lessons, he decided that when he got married, his own marriage would succeed.
Asemota also noted that men sometimes move on quickly after a relationship ends because they don't become as emotionally attached to new relationships.
He said a man can start another family within weeks or even days because his attachment is based more on physical urges than emotional connection.
Once a man feels the urge, he moves forward without much hesitation.
