Former senator Shehu Sani has mocked Peter Obi for showing up at another presidential candidate's campaign office launch.
Obi attended Seyi Makinde's campaign office opening in Abuja on Monday.
Makinde is running for president on the Allied Peoples Movement ticket, while Obi is the NDC's candidate.
Sani said Obi's move doesn't make sense, comparing it to someone selling Pepsi while advertising Coke at the same time.
He posted on social media that it's a strange political move.
The event had other major political figures present, including Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, who heads the APM.
He told Nigerians not to underestimate Makinde and the APM going into the 2027 election.
People have been reacting to Obi's appearance there because it looks odd for someone running for president himself to be promoting another presidential candidate.
