Peter Obi Picked the Wrong Running Mate in 2023 Fayose Says

Social commentator Prince Isaac Fayose has blasted Peter Obi's choice of running mate in the 2023 election, saying he picked the wrong person.

Fayose said Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed was a failure who couldn't even win his own state when he ran alongside Obi on the Labour Party ticket.

According to Fayose, nobody knew Datti before Obi picked him for the race and he didn't deliver results.

Speaking on Monday, Fayose said Obi's current vice-presidential pick for 2027 is far more capable and popular in the North than Datti ever was.

He claimed Datti's recent attacks on Obi stem from jealousy over being dropped from the ticket this time around, with Rabiu Kwankwaso taking his place instead.

Fayose was harsh in his assessment, calling Datti a waste of time and saying he wasted four years of everyone's efforts.
