Lagos Police Arrest 3 Suspected Car Snatchers With Guns

Police in Lagos have arrested three suspected members of a car th!eft and r0bbery gang operating in one part of the state.

The three men were caught following information from the public.

The suspects allegedly specialise in stealing cars and taking valuables from residents.

Police found three locally made guns and eight bullets when they searched the suspects after arrest.

Two of the pistols had five cartridges loaded while the third had three rounds of ammunition.

The police said the arrested men are currently in custody while investigators continue looking for other members of the gang.

The arrests are part of the police command's efforts to crack down on @rmed r0bbery, carj@cking and violent crimes across Lagos.

A police spokesman said preliminary investigations showed the suspects were involved in car snatching and stealing from innocent people.

The state police commissioner stressed the command's commitment to breaking up criminal networks and keeping residents safe.
