A little girl has finally regained freedom after she was forcefully abducted from her home to another state by a Muslim man and forcefully converted to Islam.

An innocent 15-year-old girl from Plateau State who was abducted in Abuja and forcefully taken to Kastina State where she was converted to Islam and her name changed by a certain Aminu has been rescued.
According to information gathered, the girl identified as Nimre Moses was abducted from her school at Life Camp in Abuja to Katsina state, converted her to Islam and changed her name to Nana Khadija.

However, the abductor's joy was short-lived as the girl's relatives mobilized after writing the police and many other Non-governmental Organizations to come to their aid. The relatives traced the girl to Kastina where a team of policemen (SARS) arrested the kidnapper and released the girl.
Nimre Moses is still in custody of the Police as investigation is ongoing. The Abuja branch of the Tarok cultural group, ‘Nkalang O’Tarok’ through Lamde Ozoemena Sohde who took interest in the case contacted NAPTIP, who asked him to write a petition and someone from the group volunteered to link him up to Prof Bem Angwe the DG National Human Rights Commission to ensure justice is served to the culprit and to prevent future occurrence.
Meanwhile various tests have been conducted on Nimre and the result will be out tomorrow. She has also written a statement detailing her ordeal. The family of the young girl have been in jubilant mood since her release.
