Nollywood actress Toyin Alausa has praised fellow actress Funke Akindele.
Alausa stated that she can attest to the fact that Akindele pays her cast and crew fairly and ensures they are well taken care of.
She stated this on her Instagram page while reacting to skit maker Ganiyu Kehinde, popularly known as Ijoba Lande's claim against Akindele.
Recall that Lande made headlines by claiming that he was paid N90k for a month of work on Akindele’s movie set, though he later apologized and clarified his statement.
Alausa wrote: "In a world where silence can be misunderstood, let me speak my truth. 💛🎬
I’ve had the honour of working on several sets produced by Funke Akindele, and I can boldly say this: @funkejenifaakindele not only pays well, but she genuinely cares for her cast and crew. From timely payments to welfare, food, and a comfortable working environment—I was well taken care of, always.
Let’s remember that everyone’s experience can be different, and while it’s okay to share personal stories, it’s also important not to generalize or tear down those who consistently pour their heart, time, and resources into building something extraordinary.
Funke Akindele is one of the hardest-working women in this industry. A pacesetter. A visionary. And above all, a woman who uplifts others. 💪🏽🎥"
