22-year-old Lady Arrested For St@bbing Her Boyfriend To D3ath During Fight Over Phone In Port Harcourt

A girl has been reportedly arrested and is standing trial for the m8rder of her boyfriend.

This was disclosed by Rivers journalist, Allwell Ene, in a Facebook post on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.

Ene said the tragic incident occurred after the lady allegedly went to a party with the deceased's phone.

While the deceased waited for her to return and she was still at the party, he went to her house the next day.

An argument ensued between them, and he started beating up the girl before she retaliated by st@bbing him with a knife.

 “Heard a very pathetic story this evening. I sat somewhere around town axis of Port Harcourt,” he wrote.
     
I saw some boys carrying the picture of their friend 24 years old who was allegedly killed by his 22 years old girlfriend

They asked me to contribute that they want to bury their friend ( he was an electrician)

I was curious on seeing the picture and hearing his age. So I asked what happened.

Why was he k!lled by his girlfriend ?

They said the girlfriend had gone to his house to collect his phone to attend a party.
     
He came back home, looked for his phone and decided to go to his girlfriend's house to ask for the phone.
     
When he got there at about 8pm, the girl had not returned
     
He waited till 10pm to no avail and then left. He went back to the girl's house in the morning. Asked her where she was last night.
     
An argument ensued and he started beating up the girl.
     
The girl I was told now picked up a knife and stabbed him in the stomach. He d!ed.
     
I also heard the girl was arrested and is standing trial.''
