A Nigerian lady, Dinma, who recently purchased her first car, a Mercedes-Benz C-Class, has responded to men questioning her source of income and insinuating that a man funded the vehicle.
The entrepreneur, who runs a hair business, took to X on Sunday, March 30, to announce the significant milestone.
“I bought my first car,” she wrote.
Commenting on the post, one X user wrote: “Omo What's your true occupation, cause me and you know salary can't buy this,”
Another X user, Ogbonna, commented on the post, saying that an average Nigerian woman can't afford a car.
“Can an average Nigerian woman afford a car? Not even a Toyota but a Mercedes, these chiefs spend money on unnecessary things,” he wrote.
Replying one of the men, she wrote: “I don’t collect salary. I pay salaries.”
