Man Kills Brother Over Mango In Borno State

A 40-year-old man, Kajdi Kachalla, has been killed by his brother, Baba Goni Kachalla, 28, following an altercation over mango harvesting in Benishiekh, in Kaga local government area of Borno State.

Sources said that the incident occurred on Tuesday, March 25 at about 9:00am when they engaged in a physical altercation at their mango plantation in Ajari area, Benishiekh.

The brothers inflicted serious head and mouth injuries on each other using sticks. Police operatives responded swiftly and evacuated them to the General Hospital in Benishiekh.

However, Kajdi Kachalla was pronounced de@d, while Baba Goni remains under medical care.

The deceased’s body was later released to his family for burial according to Islamic rites.
