She Told Me To Shut My Mouth - Sen Nwaebonyi Speaks On Why He Referred To Former Education Minister, Oby Ezekwesili As A 'Disgrace To Womanhood' (Video)

Sen Onyekachi Nwaebonyi, the deputy spokesperson of the Nigerian Senate, has opened up on the reason for the clash with a former Education Minister, Oby Ezekwesili, at the Senate public hearing into the s3xual assault allegation levelled against Senate President, Godswill Akpabio by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.

On Tuesday, a video showing Nwaebonyi and Ezekwesili hurling insults at each other made the rounds on social media.

In an interview with Channels TV in the evening, Nwaebonyi said he got angry after Ezekwesili told him to shut up when he wanted to speak. He said he does not regret his action. According to him, ‘’I gave it to her.’’
