There Is No Such Thing As Honest Mistake - US Embassy In Nigeria Warns Of Possible Travel Ban If Visitor Overstays During A Visit

The US Embassy in Nigeria has warned that visitors who overstay during a visit to the country might face a possible travel ban.

In a post shared on X, the embassy said there is no such thing as an honest mistake whenever an erring visitor is apprehended. 

The commission mentioned that consular officers have full access to a visitor's immigration history and will know about past violations.
