The Executive Director of the Akwa Ibom State Internal Revenue Service (AKIRS), Leo Umana, has advised women to be financially independent.

He urged them to earn their own money so that they would be respected.

“Sisters: Have your own money. It's not every Rod that must enter your Jerusalem. Earn your money and respect,” he wrote in a Facebook post on Monday.
