Miss Sahhara, the popular Nigerian transgender beauty queen, has sternly warned people, including her blood relatives, to stop misgendering and deadnaming her.
The Benue-born beauty queen gave the warning in a post on her Instagram story on Friday, March 14.
“If you deadname me or use the wrong pronouns, because you think you knew me when I was in Nigeria, or you claimed we went to school together, or you helped bring me out of my mother's vagina! I will gladly block your stupid ass! I don't care if we are blood relatives!,” she wrote.
"Disrespect begets disrespect. It has been 21 years since I left that godforsaken trash of a hell hole!
"I have been living my life as Sahhara longer than any rubbish assigned name/gender at birth.
“So don't you dare disrespect me with your stupidity! Clowns.”
