The lifeless body of a lady simply identified as Lucy, who was reported missing on January 5, has been discovered in her apartment located along the NNPC Road in Asaba, Delta State capital.
Her n@ked body was on the floor with her fingers cut with a knife.
A Facebook post shared by the Senior Special Assistant on Civil Society and Youth Mobilisation to the Delta State Governor, Harrison Gwamnishu, that the body of Lucy was discovered by a member of her workplace.
He narrated that after the lady had become absent from work without communication, the management of her workplace sent someone to her residence to find out about her absence.

The co-worker was said to have raised the alarm after seeing the lifeless body of Lucy which drew attention to the scene.
Gwamnishu said, “At her workplace, they started looking for her on January 5. They called her number and it was not going through. So, they sent someone to check on her and find out why she had not been coming to work.
“On getting there, she said the door was locked and she checked through the window and what she saw was the lifeless body on the floor n@ked and with blood everywhere.
“Upon investigation, it was discovered that there were marks on her body, her finger was cut with a knife and her hair was scattered on the floor which showed that she struggled. Lucy was allegedly murdered in her house.”
