Defamation: Court Remands Pastor Paul Eneche’s Brothers, One Other

 

Two brothers of Pastor Paul Eneche, the senior pastor of the Dunamis International Gospel Church have been remanded in custody.

 

A Magistrate Court in Wuse, Abuja, remanded the two siblings; Mr. Enenche Enenche and Alexander Enenche alongside Pastor Abraham Daniel at the Keffi Prison in Nasarawa State, over allegations of defamation.

 

They were remanded at the Keffi Custodial Centre of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) on Monday evening following a remand order the Nigerian Police Force secured from the Magistrate Court in Wuse Zone 6, Abuja.

 

Upon honouring the police invitation, Mr. Enenche Enenche and Alexander Enenche (brothers of Pastor Paul Enenche) as well as Abraham Daniel (a former Pastor at Dunamis Church) were kept in the police custody till Monday evening.

 

Alex Enenche and Daniel were arrested and detained on January 7, 2025, of allegations of cyberbullying and criminal defamation against Pastor Paul Enenche, but were released the following day after an agreement was reached to resolve the matter amicably.
