Nigerian activist, Martins Otse aka VeryDarkMan has released another video on his Instagram page to address the controversy surrounding the alleged missing N180m from his NGO account.
He visited Zenith Bank to obtain his bank statement which he shared with the public.
He shared a video of himself at the bank, where he revealed that he had just received a gift hamper containing items for the festive season, from Zenith Bank.
VeryDarkMan explained that he collected his bank statement for the NGO, covering the period from December 15th to December 30th. He mentioned that the total bank statement was over 2,000 pages, but he would make the e-bank statement available.
As he went through the bank statement, he said the opening balance was N239 million. The total debit from the NGO account was N39,000. He also said the total credit for the short period was N1.9 million, and the closing balance was N240 million.
He pointed out that the debits were mainly from the Federal Government of Nigeria for electronic money transfer levies. VeryDarkMan emphasized that there were no suspicious transactions or withdrawals, and the account balance remained consistent.
