Bandits Kill Man, Abduct His Wife And Four Neighbours In Katsina Town

A man identified as Malam Muntari Lawan has been killed by bandits who also abducted his wife in Matazu town, Katsina State.

Conflict and crisis journalist, Bakatsine, who disclosed this on Tuesday, December 31, said the bandits invaded the town on Monday night, December 30, 2024.

According to him, the gunmen also abducted four of Lawan's neighbours.

“Yesterday night, bandits invaded Matazu town in Katsina State, brutally murdered Malam Muntari Lawan. They also abducted his wife and four neighbors, who are currently in their custody. It’s shocking that bandits could enter a town like Matazu so easily,” he wrote.
