Young Boy Drowns Inside A Pool While Celebrating Christmas In Bayelsa

In what will come across as a really heartbreaking development, a young boy has drowned Bayelsa State.

The boy drowned and another was rescued while swimming in a hotel pool on Christmas Day.

The deceased and other children were celebrating at the popular Aridolf Hotel, Okaka Estate, along Isaac Boro Expressway in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, when tragedy struck.

Another boy who would have suffered a similar fate was resuscitated.

There were many children in the swimming pool and that made it difficult to know when the boy was in distress and what led to the drowning.

The tragic incident led to panic at the hotel and has now sparked a conversation about safety measures in recreational facilities in Nigeria.
