Man Allegedly Slits Friend's Throat And Steals His Money In Kogi

A man identified as Mallam Mukit, is currently on the run after he attempted to murder his friend at New Zango, Kabba Junction in Okene, Kogi State.
 
A family member, Zainab Avosuahu, who disclosed this in a Facebook post on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, said the suspect allegedly lured her nephew into the bush, collected N200,000 from him and slit his throat.
 
The 19-year-old victim who runs a POS business, is currently undergoing surgery in a Lokoja hospital while the suspect is currently on the run.
 
 “Received a shocking call from my sister this evening that have me devastated. Please this is a call for Justice for my nephew whom his friend dragged to the bush collected 200k from and still have his throat butchered. He is currently undergoing surgery in Lokoja while the d£vil in disguise of friend is on the run. Please we are on the look out for him. This is all the information we can get now as the victim can’t say much," she wrote.
