It has been revealed that Lionel Messi, the Inter Miami superstar, did not vote for either Vinicius Junior or Rodri as his top pick for the 2024 FIFA Best Awards.

This was disclosed after his votes were made public.

National team coaches, captains and prominent media personalities took part in the voting process.

As Argentina’s national team captain, Messi was also given the responsibility of selecting the winner.

He placed Barcelona’s 17-year-old sensation, Lamine Yamal, at the top of his list, followed by his former PSG teammate, Kylian Mbappe, in second place.

Interestingly, Messi included Vinicius, the eventual winner, in his third spot but left out Rodri entirely from his list.
