Popular Nigerian actress and movie producer, Mary Remmy Njoku has taken a swipe at men who leave virtuous women to go after materialistic ones only to accuse women of being gold diggers.

She took to Instagram to state that a man's taste in women should align with his needs.

The ROK TV boss wrote: "You know your pocket is modest. Yet you overlook all the beautiful, virtuous women out there and pursue someone who has openly declared that her only interest is money. Just to label her a gold digger?

"It’s like accusing someone of trying to steal something you don't even have.

"It's Christmas,  don't be a witch bruv!

"Your taste in women needs to align with your wants and needs."
