GBV: A Man Has Every Right To Slap His Wife And She Must Not Retaliate - Nigerian Man Counters Emir Of Kano

A Nigerian man has stated that a man has the right to slap his wife and she must not retaliate because he is the head of the family.

He made this on a Facebook post about the 16th Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi, who said he always tells his daughters whenever they are getting married that if their husbands slap them, he expects them to return the slap.

According to him, people must understand the meaning of beating up one's spouse in a marriage.
