A South African man, Zitha Kalabase, is mourning the demise of his girlfriend who died two months after he gushed about her on the X platform.

“How is it fair that I'm attending your funeral this weekend my love?,” he wrote on Monday, adding that they were expecting their first child.

On September 15, 2024, he posted their photo, writing: “My heart”

“Eh man!!! I'm in love. Hhayibo ngaze ngamthanda usisi!,” he added.
