This is as he took to his Instagram page to share a compiled video detailing his national and international recognition on his Instagram page.

The director of the famous Anikulapo series shared moments when he was interviewed by international media outlets, invited to special events and the beginning of his breakthrough in the film industry.

Sharing the video, he wrote:

“I am a creative, I like to build and I mind my own business.

I am not in competition with anyone but Myself.

My name is Kunle Afolayan, I am a Filmmaker and I am a Nigeria.”
