A Nigerian chef, Joe, who is married, has stated that he plans to enroll his daughters in martial arts classes from a young age to help them protect themselves from violence.
He stated this in a Facebook post on Saturday, November 30, while reacting to reports of a man identified as Samuel, who has been accused of beating his 25-year-old wife, Jessica Olua, to d3ath.
The couple got married on March 25, 2023, in Abia, Abia state.
While decrying the alarming rate of domestic violence against women by men, Joe berated ladies who continue to stay with abusive partners.
“I once made a comment, still posted it on my wall sometime ago that when I give birth to my daughter(s) I'll raise them well. Proper upbringing to be responsible, respectful, god-fearing industrious but one thing I'll never fail to do is enroll them in kung-Fu classes and Taekwondo self-defense classes from childhood,” he wrote.
Nah!!! They ll be respectful wives but they're gonna work or do whatever business they find appealing, they'll have their own money and at the same time can defend themselves physically when the need arises.
I see no reason why you as a grown @$$ man will go to someone's house and pick his daughter as a wife and suddenly remember that you need a punching bag to the extent you kpai-d her.
Ahhh! Omo!!! Heaven will receive two people that day and I'll face the consequences. This one is not a matter of forgive and forget, infact try raise a finger on any of my sisters or nieces you'll know.
I have said it before, this is the result of “Don't cry don't cry!! You're a boy men don't cry”
These men end up being stone cold hearted, no empathy, no love, no compassion because you've succeeded in sapping away every bit of kindness in them with your toxic masculinity.
My dad told me one day years back “Any day you raise a finger on a woman you've lost your place as a man, what makes you a man isn't your muscles nor fist but your ability to handle situations even the toughest ones”
Yes women can be annoying at times, but walk away and chill off. If it's not working or she isn't changing then you're justified to walk away from that relationship or marriage.
You as a woman, a man hits you countlessly unprovoked and you stayed just because you want to remain married, ngwanu.
Now you see why I kept saying every lady needs to be financially responsible and stable in or before entering marriage? If you check am now she stayed probably because of feeding and rent.
I know some of you will come to say "let's hear from the man first " bro nothing, I repeat nothing justifies you doing this to someone's daughter. As she don kpai now what next.
