The lawmaker representing Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Akin Alabi, has taken sides with an X user who opined that building houses for rent is a bad investment.

According to the author, he had properties in Lagos which he put up for rent but had to sell them as he failed to make his returns from the investment.

He said he eventually had to let people live for free in the properties.

He stated that the properties are all situated in Lagos.
