Police Arrest 'Suck And Die' Dealer In Bauchi

Kabiru Adamu, a suspected dealer of methylene chloride (A50) popularly known as “Suck and Die,” and Diamond Rubber Solution, has been apprehended by the  Bauchi State Police Command.

The spokesperson of the command, SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, who disclosed this in a statement on Monday, November 25, 2024, said 30 bottles of “Suck and Die” and 264 pieces of Diamond Rubber Solution were recovered from the suspect.
 
“On 22/11/2024, operatives attached to the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), led by the Commander, CSP Suleiman M. Tambuwal, successfully arrested a suspected dealer of methylene chloride (A50), popularly known as “Suck and D!e,” and Diamond Rubber Solution at Tudun Wadan Dan Iya (Bayan Gari), Bauchi,” the statement read.
 
"The raid resulted in the arrest of Kabiru Adamu 'm' Igbo Quarters and the recovery of the following items: 1. Two hundred and sixty-four (264) pieces of OSHN Diamond Rubber Solution. 2. Nineteen (19) 30ml bottles of suspected methylene chloride (“Suck and Die”), and 3. Three hundred and sixty-three (363) empty bottles.
 
During interrogation, the suspect confessed that he received the items from his boss and was paid after selling them. He further confessed that each bottle of “Suck and Die” costs three hundred naira (N300), while each piece of Diamond Rubber Solution is sold for two hundred and fifty naira (N250).
 
“The Commissioner of Police, CP Auwal Musa Mohammed, psc, Anipr, has directed further investigation, after which the suspect will be charged to court''.
