He's Recovering Well - Bishop T.D. Jakes' Daughter And Son-in-law Gives Update On His Health After Medical Emergency During Sunday Sermon (Video)

The senior pastor of The Potter's House in U.S, Bishop T.D. Jakes suffered a medical emergency during a sermon on Sunday, November 24.

He was speaking at the Dallas-based The Potter's House Church when he lowered his microphone and started shaking in his seat before people around him rushed to his aid.

In a statement, the church said Jakes "experienced a slight health incident and received immediate medical attention following his powerful hour-long message."

"Bishop Jakes is stable and under the care of medical professionals," the church said. "The entire Potter’s House family is grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from the community."

Meanwhile, Bishop T.D. Jakes' daughter, Sarah Jakes Roberts has shared an update about her father's health through an Instagram video.

Sarah was accompanied by her husband Toure Roberts in the clip as she started by saying: "Hey family. I know today's been an interesting day for us. But we didn't want to lay down without giving you all an update about how everything is going with Bishop."

Sarah thanked everyone for their prayers and support when the news of her father's medical emergency broke out.

"Yeah we felt those prayers. Obviously, today could have been a tragic day. But it wasn't by the mercy of God, by the grace of God. Bishop is doing well. He's recovering well. He's under medical care. He's strong. We're trying to get him to sit down. He's the strong Bishop that we know."
