Auwal Danladi Sankara, the Jigawa State Commissioner for Special Duties who was accused of alleged adultery has spoken up after he was cleared of the allegations.
He said that his trials reminded him that no one is above being tested by Allah SWT, and has instilled in him a deeper sense of humility and dedication to his role as a public servant.
Sankara stated this in a statement issued to DAILY POST while reacting to the allegations labelled against him.
It was reported that the Jigawa State commissioner for special duties, Auwalu Danladi Sankara was accused of having an affair with a married woman in an uncompleted building.
The situation sparked contention which resulted in his suspension by the JIgawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi pending the outcome of the investigation by the AIG zone 1 and the Shari’a court’s judgement.
The Kano State Upper Sharia Court however acquitted and discharged him based on the police report as the complainant failed to provide sufficient evidence to prove the allegation and therefore struck out the case.
