Finding An Honest Person Feels Like Looking For A Needle In A Haystack These Days - X User Recounts How A Delivery Man Swindled His Wife And An Online Vendor

A Nigerian man has opined that it is difficult to find an honest person today because most people have no integrity.

Taking to the X platform, the man, Arinze Odira recounted how a delivery man swindled his wife and an online vendor.

He revealed that his wife already paid the dispatch rider N3,700 to deliver the goods she ordered but when he arrived, he still collected another money from their security official.

 He wrote;

‘’My wife ordered something from a Nigerian vendor, and it was delivered to out house in Lagos. The vendor had already paid the delivery guy N3,700 for the service. When the delivery guy arrived, he collected another N3,700 from my gateman.

Later, when my wife and the vendor realized they had both paid for delivery, the vendor called the guy to ask for a refund. Instead of apologizing or returning the money, the guy got offended and said they were bothering him over ‘just’ N3,700.

It is crazy how people like to blame politicians for everything, but the truth is, many regular people have no integrity either. Our values are so messed up that finding an honest person feels like looking for a needle in a haystack these days.''
