Gov Ademola Adeleke
Gov Ademola Adeleke of Osun state has presented a 2025 appropriation bill totalling N390,028,277,740.00 to the State House of Assembly.
While presenting the bill before the Speaker and other lawmakers on Wednesday, Governor Adeleke outlined the budget proposal, which includes N144,231,183,800 for capital expenditure and N245,797,093,940 for recurrent expenditure.
In a statement released by the Governor’s spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, the Governor explained that the state’s revenue is projected to come from both federal allocations and internally generated sources.
The statement reads: “Our revenue consists of Recurrent Revenue, including the government’s share of FAAC, which stands at N196,778,975,180.00, and Independent Revenue of N109,870,932,830.00.
“Additional receipts from development partners are projected at N53,377,244,610.00.
“We will continue to prioritize capital projects for the benefit of our people and the socio-economic development of our dear state.”
