How I Steal Motorcycles, Generators, Clothes - 25-Year Old Auxiliary Nurse Confesses In Ondo (Photo)

A 25-year old auxiliary nurse, Jimoh Akeem, has been arrested by the Ondo State Security Network Agency, known as the Amotekun Corps.

The young man was arrested for alleged theft in Ondo town.

In his confession at the Corps headquarters in Akure, Akeem said he specialises in stealing motorcycles, clothes and generators.

“I stole a motorcycle at Ajagbale Quarters in Ondo town. This is my first time committing the crime, and I stole just one motorcycle,” he said. 

"I started this year, and so far, I have stolen three motorcycles. My partner and I entered the owner’s compound at night to steal the okada.

"We usually go out randomly to search for okadas. I have a buyer in Abeokuta who buys the motorcycles from me whenever I steal one.

"I have also stolen clothes, which I sell to some women who buy them from me. Whenever I go to people’s homes to steal clothes, I have two receivers who buy the aso-oke from me for N300,000 each time.

"During my operations, I steal motorcycles, and my buyer in Abeokuta purchases them for N450,000 each. We enter the compound at night where the owners park them, so we don’t go through the gate. We don’t hijack the bikes from anyone.

“I also steal clothes, and these women act as my receivers when I collect aso-oke from people’s houses. I even steal generators at night as well.

“I usually operate alone for most of the operations. But for one of the motorcycles they found with me, I went with my colleagues.

“I am an auxiliary nurse and work at Ogunye Hospital. I have no specific reason for stealing. The name of the buyer in Ijebu Ode is Goma; I knew him through a friend

“I had been arrested here before, so this is my second time of being arrested on theft,” he confessed.
