AGF Completes Release Process For 'Minor' #EndBadGovernance Protesters Charged With Treason

The Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), has completed the documentation to release individuals detained in connection with the #EndBadGovernance protests, including minors charged with treason.

According to sources, these detainees are set to be freed at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday.

SaharaReporters confirmed on Monday night that officials, including the Attorney General, Inspector General of Police, and representatives from the Nigerian Correctional Service, have completed plans to present the detainees before Justice Obiora Egwuatu, who is expected to oversee the withdrawal of the charges.

“Arrangements have been made for the release of #EndBadGovernance detainees at the Federal High Court tomorrow (Tuesday),” a source informed SaharaReporters.
