DeeOne Drags VeryDarkMan For Accepting N100M Donation From Don Jazzy (Video)

Former BBNaija housemate and comedian, Deeone has taken a swipe at social media critic, Verydarkman for receiving the N100m donated by record producer, Don Jazzy to his NGO.

In August 2024, VDM had criticized Don Jazzy and other celebrities for supporting crossdresser Bobrisky after his jail sentence.

However, just weeks later, VDM accepted Don Jazzy’s large donation and prayed for him, despite their previous conflict.

After learning about the donation, Deeone mocked VDM, saying Don Jazzy had taught him a lesson. Deeone pointed out that Don Jazzy ignored VDM’s insults because he understood they came from hardship.

He also mentioned the double standard, noting that Don Jazzy was criticized for supporting Bobrisky, but when he helped VDM, it was viewed positively.

In Deeone’s words: “I am disappointed in Don Jazzy… don collect money from Don Jazzy o. ‘Don Jazzy I am highly disappointed in you’ he don collect money from am o. So that means this Don Jazzy na good person, he no dey look whether you yourself you be evil person. Can you imagine? Because when Don Jazzy gave Bobrisky money wey Bobrisky put am online, VDM come outside say ‘I’m disappointed, Don Jazzy look at what you are supporting’. This Don Jazzy na very petty person o, he no talk, he just look am say ‘you, you’re not the one speaking, it is poverty,’ he just quiet. When VDM need money for his NGO na so he give am N100 million! VDM never see that kain money before, he report himself ‘please o, I’m not into money laundering, Zenith Bank investigate.’”

Deeone continued, calling this a valuable lesson for everyone, including himself: “This life no be to just dey talk because that same money wey dem give Bobrisky it was bad, but as dem give you, it is good. Don Jazzy God bless you, I no even know whether to pray for you or to swear for you because e be like say people wey dey talk to you anyhow, na im you dey give money. But this is a very valuable lesson, the same Don Jazzy wey VDM insult, now VDM dey pray for am, dey pray for him generation and children’s children. If I’ve offended you, if I’ve said any hurtful words, if I’ve done something wey dey vex you, abeg no vex.”

Deeone ended by humorously implying that Don Jazzy gives money to those who speak badly of him.
