Several Nollywood stars and fans have taken to Instagram to share birthday messages and tributes for veteran actress Idowu Philips, widely known as Mama Rainbow, as she celebrates her 82nd birthday today.

The legendary actress marked the new age by sharing different emotional posts on her Instagram page. In one of the posts, Mama Rainbow expressed her gratitude to God for her new age, writing, “+1 today am now 82 years today. Thank you DADDY.”

She shared her thoughts on aging, noting that turning 82 is not the end but the beginning of another year filled with the wisdom she has gathered over eight decades.
