Edo Guber: Election Malpractice Will Determine Who Will Win 2027 Election – Primate Ayodele Warns

 

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele has sounded a serious warning to the People Democratic Party, PDP.

 

He was reacting to the defeat the party suffered in the Edo governorship election.

 

According to him, if opposition parties don't come together, 2027 election will be determined by electoral malpractice.

 

Primate Ayodele said the opposition parties in Nigeria were not on ground but active only on digital platforms.

 

In a statement signed by his Media Aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Primate Ayodele mentioned that PDP’s role as an opposition party had become expired because governors under the platform were dull.

 

The prophet, who warned the PDP to watch out for electoral malpractices ahead of the Edo election, explained that the 2027 presidential election will not be free of electoral malpractices.

 

According to Ayodele: ‘’I have been warning Edo PDP and Governor Obaseki about the outcome of the result seven different times but they refused to listen to warnings, they didn’t do what was needed to win the election.

 

Primate Ayodele described opposition parties as people in bondage that have been reduced to ceremonial politicians.

 

He mentioned some vibrant opposition members who had clout unlike the new generation of opposition parties.

 

‘’There is no opposition, the opposition is in bondage, they are just ceremonial governors, they don’t have action.

‘’Especially in PDP, most governors are after their personal interest, they have no clout and will only betray themselves,‘’ he said.
