The family of Daniel Ogoh, a 27-year-old postgraduate student from the UK, has raised alarm following his mysterious disappearance after he recently visited Nigeria.

According to the family, Ogoh is 6.1 ft tall.

Ogoh, a former student of Abraka University, Delta State, reportedly arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, on May 5, with plans to proceed to Benin, Edo State.

According to Ogoh’s uncle, Peace Imade Osemwegie, who spoke to SaharaReporters on Friday, Ogoh's name was listed on the manifest of arriving passengers and he had been cleared by all relevant authorities.

"There are no criminal records against him,"
Osemwegie said.

However, the situation became alarming when Ogoh did not reach his intended destination and has not been seen by any family member, friend, or associate since.

Efforts to contact him on the phone have also failed.

"This is really strange and unfortunate. I don't understand how somebody will arrive all the way from Europe and disappear into the thin air of his country," Osemwegie said.

"This has thrown the parents and other family members into emotional trauma. This is a very dark and agonizing moment for us."

Worried about his safety, the family has launched a frantic search and reported the matter to law enforcement agencies. Despite these efforts, no progress has been made, and the circumstances surrounding his disappearance remain unclear.

The family is now appealing to the public for assistance. "Anyone with useful information on Ogoh where about should report at the nearest police station or contact the family," Osemwegie urged.

The family can be reached through the following numbers: +2349035440301 and +2348167082786.
