Two Brothers Accused Of Kidnapping And R@ping 14-year-old Girl In Rivers

Two brothers from the same family simply identified as Honest and Okwukwe, have been accused of kidnapping and defiling a 14-year-old girl in Erima community in the Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Areas of Rivers State.

According to reports, the victim was sent on an errand by her mother to her older brother's house when she was abducted by the suspects.

She was said to have been walking on a lonely path in the community when the suspects allegedly accosted her and then took her to a house where they took turns having canal knowledge of her.

Their nefarious activities came to light when the mother of the victim raised an alarm after she discovered the minor never arrived at her older brother's house to deliver the errand she was sent to deliver.

The vigilante members were alerted and they began to search for the girl. They later found her in a house where the brothers had taken turns to defile her.

The older brother was arrested and handed to men of the Egi Police Division Headquarters in Obite, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni LGA while the younger brother fled the scene and is currently at large.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, said an investigation into the incident has since commenced while efforts are on the way to apprehend the younger brother. She vowed that the suspects would be made to face the full wrath of the law.
