Arrest Anyone Diverting, Selling Fertilizer Meant For Kogi West Farmers – Sen. Karimi Blows Hot

Senator Sunday Karimi, the Lawmaker representing Kogi West Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has directed security agencies to arrest and prosecute anyone found selling the fertilizer he freely gave to farmers across the district.

Senator Karimi made the appeal following information that some persons are alleged to be selling the fertilizers in the open market.

“Security agencies should arrest anyone caught selling the fertilizer I distributed to my Constituency with a view to unmasking those behind the satanic crime against Kogi West farmers,” he stated.

The Senator assured that efforts are ongoing to provide farmers with more fertilizer, herbicides and other support needed to increase their yield.

According to him, “If the current efforts to thwart the good intentions are not checked, the items distributed will go down the drain with no attendant results”.
