Chidimma Vanessa Adetshina Officially Joins Miss Universe Nigeria

Chidimma Vanessa Adetshina, the lady who withdrew from the Miss South Africa Beauty Pageant due to concerns for her family’s safety and wellbeing is now an official participant of Miss Universe Nigeria 2024.

Chidimma is contestant No 25, representing Taraba State of Nigeria in the pageantry.

Adetshina, a law student of Nigerian and South African descent, faced controversy and xenophobic backlash in South Africa over her eligibility to compete.

Despite this, she received significant support from many who defended her right to participate.

Chidimma Vanessa Adetshina has now expressed her excitement to compete in the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant, which she describes as Africa’s most recognized beauty contest.

Her decision has been met with widespread support from fans and celebrities, who wish her well in the upcoming competition.
