Nigerian Immigration Service Promotes Spokesperson, 4,851 others

 

The Nigerian Immigration Service has announced the promotion of its officers.

 

Caroline Adepoju, Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service made the announcement on Wednesday.

 

Adepoju announced the elevation of Adedotun Aridegbe, Service Public Relations Officer (SPRO), to the position of Comptroller of Immigration.

 

Adepoju said this in a statement on Wednesday, adding that the NIS also promoted 4,851 other individuals who took part in the 2023 promotion procedure.

 

She stated that the promotion information was sent to her via a letter from the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board, dated August 4, and titled CDCFIB/S.33/VOLIV/75.

 

Recall that the Comptroller General decorated 69 promoted Assistant Comptroller General and Comptrollers of Immigration on Tuesday.

 

She explained that 18 Comptrollers of Immigration were promoted to the rank of Assistant Comptrollers-General of Immigration.

 

“520 Chief Superintendents of Immigration were elevated to the rank of Assistant Comptroller of Immigration; 634 Superintendents of Immigration got the rank of Chief Superintendents of Immigration,” she said.
