Iyabo, via her Instagram page, posted copies of a letter written to Lizzy through her lawyers, Bimpe Ajegbomogun and co.
Actress Iyabo Ojo has through her lawyers demanded an apology from colleague, Lizzy Anjorin.
Iyabo threatened a N1bn lawsuit against Anjorin if she doesn't take back some defamatory video publications made against her.
Iyabo, via her Instagram page, posted copies of a letter written to Lizzy through her lawyers, Bimpe Ajegbomogun and co.
According to the letter, Lizzy has been posting ‘’vile and denigrating'' video contents on her page and the videos were directed at Iyabo.
Iyabo's lawyers said Lizzy, via her comment section, agreed with her followers who said her defamatory posts were directed at Iyabo. The lawyers also said in the letter that Lizzy has failed to deny the facts that the derogatory contents were directed at Iyabo.
The lawyers said that Iyabo called Lizzy out on Instagram recently, asking her to mention her name as the person she refers to as ‘’Sepereti' in her defamatory posts. The lawyers said, surprisingly, Lizzy came out minutes after and said she will not mention their client's name but will continue to refer to her as ‘’Sepeteri'. The lawyers argued that Lizzy's reaction was an open and uncontentious way of alluding and affirming that she was referring to Iyabo.
The lawyers also claim that Lizzy, via her contents, alleged that Iyabo has, among other things, been involved in a threesome with her daughter; that Iyabo and her man killed Mohbad; that her man is an ex-convict who was sexually abused while in prison; that Iyabo is a prostitute and that she is dating singer Naira Marley.
The lawyers demanded, among other things, that Lizzy publishes an apology on four national newspapers and that she also tenders an apology on her Facebook and Instagram page. The lawyers also demanded that Lizzy pays the sum N500 million as damages to Iyabo.
They stated that failure to do these in fourteen days, will leave them with no choice but to file a N1 billion lawsuit against Lizzy.
