Oyo Kingmakers Elect US-Based Prince As New Aseyin Of Iseyin

Olawale Sefiu Oyebola, a United States of America based prince, has been elected the new Aseyin of Iseyin in Oyo State.

The Aseyin of Iseyin stool became vacant following the death of Oba Salauwudeen Abdulganiy Adekunle on 24th July 2022.

Earlier today, the kingmakers had converged at the palace to elect the 30th Aseyin of Iseyin.

Our correspondent who has been monitoring the process reports that the 55-year-old prince was elected after the 10 kingmakers unanimously voted for him.
