Michelle Yeoh, the popular Hollywood actress, has finally tied the knot with businessman, Jean Todt, 19 years after he popped the question.
Yeoh, 60, walked down the aisle in Geneva, Switzerland, “surrounded by loving friends and family” on Thursday.
The news of their marriage was shared by ex-Ferrari Formula One driver, Felipe Massa, after he posted pictures of the couple and their wedding programme via Instagram.
However, the love birds are yet to make any posts or public comments about their wedding.
A note in the wedding programme gave a brief peek into their love story, revealing that Yeoh and the former Ferrari boss got engaged barely two months after they met.
“We met in Shanghai on 4th June 2004, On 26th July 2004, J.T proposed to marry M.Y and she said YES,” the program read. “Today after 6992 days, on 27th July 2023 in Geneva, surrounded by loving family and friends, we are so happy to celebrate this special moment together!”
Their marriage comes months after the Malaysian ex-beauty queen made history at the 2023 Oscars by becoming the first Asian woman to win Best Actress in the awards’ 95-year history.
The award was for her outstanding performance in the blockbuster movie, “Everything Everywhere All at Once”.
The film clinched a total of seven awards at the 2023 Oscars including the Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Director categories.
