The suspect has admitted to the crime and an investigation is ongoing to recover the phone, the suspect will be charged in court after the investigation.

A notorious armed robbery suspect impersonating a military officer has been arrested.

He was nabbed by operatives of the Anti-kidnapping unit of the Bayelsa State Police Command.

A statement issued to DAILY POST, on Thursday, through the State’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Asinim Butswat, said “The suspect Kaizer Freeman was arrested following a complaint by a victim who was robbed of her mobile phone on gunpoint at Agudama, Yenagoa, on 17 January 2023 at about 1745 hours”

Upon a search of the suspect house, the Police recovered one dummy pistol, a pistol holster, a handcuff, and Navy, Army, and Air Force face caps.
