My Dad Said I Was Always Smiling And Life Needs Frowning – Seun Kuti Recounts Lessons From Fela

Seun Kuti, has recalled the lessons he learnt from his late dad and pioneer of Afrobeat, Fela Kuti.

According to the musician, his father had told him that he was always in the habit of wearing a smile and life needed frowning.

Seun who has learned the lessons well from his father said that when he frowns now, nobody can march his glare.

He Wrote:
