Next in Line to the Throne of Olubadan of Ibadan Dies at 91

 

The Balogun of Ibadanland, Chief Sulaimon Adegboyega Alao Omiyale, who is the next ranked chief to the Olubadan of Ibadan, died at 91.

 

He passed away on Saturday evening at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan.

 

His remains were brought to the Omiyale compound on Sunday afternoon, November 8, amid tears and wailing.

 

 

The family lamented that it had lost out in producing the Olubadan.

 

He was buried at the Ope Agbe Palace, Omiyale house, Oja’ba, Ibadan, in the evening, after a funeral service by the Chief Imam of Ibadan, Sheikh Abdul-Ganiyy Abubakri Agbotomokekere.
