In what will come across as a really shocking development, two women have been found dead with their brains removed in Bayelsa state.

According to a report by Punch Metro, palpable fear has enveloped Akenfa community, Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, following the discovery of two women suspected to have been killed by ritualists in the community.
A female meat pie seller, identified as Goodnews Stephen, said to be an indigene of Kolokumo/Opokumo Local Government Area of the state was found dead, with her faced shattered and her brain missing in the early hours of Friday.
Her fresh body was found at a dump located at the back of Akenfa Community Secondary School in the community.
This is coming few days after a mother of four, identified as Glory Omo-Ohwo, was gruesomely murdered in a similar fashion. Her face was shattered and her brain had also been removed.
Omo-Ohwo, said to have been a resident in Akenfa 1, Epie Community, in Yenagoa, the capital, was a fish seller until he met her untimely death.
She was said to have woken up early on Tuesday January 29, 2019, to smoke some fishes she had purchased, but when her children woke up at dawn, their mother was nowhere to be found.
They only found their mother’s slippers.
A search was quickly conducted by the community and her lifeless body was later found in an uncompleted building next to the compound where she resides, with her skull badly damaged and her brain missing.
When contacted, the spokesman for the state police command, Asiniim Butswat, said he had heard about it but had yet to be briefed on the incident.
